Hi Folks,

Just curious if anyone can help me with this.
I am trying to configure the paypal with my business account in paypal.
Can anyone tell me whats supposed to be in the 'cart name' fields in the store admin

Paypal id = email address
Cart Name = ??
Button URL = there is a default value
Currency Type = USD

If I  key in anythnig it goes into the payment for field which is the item_name, is that how its supposed to be? what if I have multiple items?

This is all gettting me haywired.

Some help is highly apprecaited.

That is how it's supposed to be in the current version of Store.

If you have multiple items (as most baskets do) then they all get grouped under one name (the basket name) which then gets passed onto paypal.

This is a shame since paypal can handle individual cart items quite well, and the invoices that PayPal generates could be useful if the whole cart content were displayed.

It's possible to change this behaviour, but you have to modify source code.

I don't know if the upcoming new version of store will handle baskets differently.

Yup this is bad, if only i can redirect all the cart output to an ASP file on my site I think i can manage to redirect that to the Paypal site with the proper parameters. I guess I have to start digging into the files.
