Hi,

I have a problem with a 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 installs: users in child portals are logged out when don't exist in the parent portal.

I have noticed this situation on a new module that we develop that has several .aspx pages within. Any call to these pages (even to empty ones) makes the request un-authenticated if the current user does not exist in the parent portal. Normal modules, that do not call .aspx pages work just fine.

This behavior does not happen for the Host user.

Any help ?

Thank,
Catalin

Any time you make a call to an aspx page in the website you need to add the portalId or the tabId to the querystring.

This is because authentication happens on every request and if the method can not determine the portal context it will delete the auth cookie causing a logout.

I also have the same problem, and I have added the tabid to the querystring, but it still doesn't work.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!
