Guys, whoever hosted or is hosting with webhost4life, please leave a note here, let me know if their sites load fast (with all the unlimited bandwidth they offer..)! and any other things you consider important to know about their hosting.

Thanks!

Hi,

I personally hated WH4L - check out this speed test.

Bear in mind I was on the cheapy deal - it's great for testing etc. but you can't use it for anything serious - too slow and drops too often - I recommend PowerDNN for pain free hosting (sounds like a TV commericial ;)

rodneyjoyce, thanks for feedback, i checked the link you gave me and it seems ok except for "1 domain" part.. the problem with all dotnetnuke hosting is that there is always a catch.. its either a limit on domain names or disk space is too low or bandwitdth is ridiculous. I mean whats the point of having a dnn site with only one domain poiting to it? or having to pay extra for each and every extra domain.

Hmm - I am not sure if that means literally 1 domain NAME or 1 DNN installation. I'll alert Tony to this post to clarify - I would be suprised if he cares how many actualy aliases are pointing at an installation, but I am on the middle package so I can't say for sure...

Hey Rodney,
With our hosting plans, when we say "domain" on our website, we mean "DotNetNuke Install".  We do have a limit on the number of domain aliases we give just so we don't have people trying to run 1000 sites off of the same instance (that is bad for a whole number of reasons I won't go into).
