On my DNN server, I made a folder under Portal Root called documents. Then created some subfolders and bulk copied various files to those folders using the Windows filesystem. Then I click the synchronize function, and it appeared to pick up all the files in their respective folders.

When I try to use some of these files in links, they do not open properly and appear broken. When I went backto look at the underlying folders in a Windows Explorer window, all the file names has a .resource extension added to the end of the filename. Is this proper? Can this be the cause of the broken links?

This is even happening now if I upload files within the File Manager.

Can someone help?

DNN Version: 04.03.04

Thanks,

-Frank

You'll get a better response on this question if you post it in one of the general forums (your issue is not specific to the documents module).
