Can anyone direct me to how I might remove a thread when I don't have the normal admin functions available to do so?

I guess something is in the post that is wrecking havoc, such that the menu doesn't show up for me to Edit or Delete it.  I'm assuming I can remove the offending thread from the DB, but not sure what difficulties that may cause.

Using latest version of DNN 4.x and latest forums.

Thanks!

Since you do not have access to delete the forums I do not know of any easy way to do this.  If you do have access to the DB, my quesiton is why don't you have access to delete forum post?  Someone has to have access to delete the thread, if so why not just ask them to delete the thread for you through the interface.  If you do delete it through the database I would suggest running of the following stored procedures.

Forum_PostDelete
Forum_ThreadDelete

Sorry if I wasn't clear.  I am logging in as superuser - I have access to everything, but something in this post is screwy and the normal admin functions to edit/delete the post are not there.

Thanks alot - those SPs should do the trick.
