Hi, Just downloaded DNN. Have downloaded a while ago about a year, but it seems to have become more complicated in terms of install. It might just be me, but can someone help me out. I've put all files into a folder on the web server and gone to run and then there is a problem.  Please point me in the right direction.

kind regards,

The "DotNetNuke Installation Guide.pdf" file which comes in the documemtation folder separately downloaded from the DotNetNuke download page is a very good place to start. When making the installation there are a number of other procedures which must be accomplished like adding your dotnetnuke path to a newly created virtual directory and also giving full control permissions access to either "Network Service" or "ASPNET" accounts depending on whether you are using Win3k2 or WinXP respectively. You must also choose ASP.NET 2.0 or 1.1 depending on whether you use DotNetNuke 4.x or 3.x.

If this all seems complicated, it's not really - after a few times it becomes second nature. The guide gives you a very good account on how to start.
