I already wrote here yesterday:

Please take care, if you update UDT prior to proper DNN version: There is a special mechinism used, that prevent database scripts to run, if the core version is not appropriate, so you can install previous UDT version over existing one without loosing functionality. Unfortunately the module version is updated anyway, and the scripts don't run on subsequent update of UDT. I recognized today, that DotNetNuke 3.3.5/4.3.5 now prevents installation of previous module versions, so I recommend the following procedure, if you previously installed an unsupported version:

  • Login as Host
  • Goto "SQL" in Host menu
  • enter the following text in the box and hit run

        Update {objectqualifier}ModuleDefinitions SET Version = '03.03.00' WHERE ModuleName ='DNN_UserDefinedTable'

  • Install previously used version of UDT
  • Install latest version of UDT
  • try the module

Sebastian,

I can't get the SQL you mentioned to work.  I keep getting an error ("There is an error in your query!").  Any suggestions?  I'm leaving the {objectqualifier} line as-is.  Should this be something more specific?

oliver,

sorry, it should be correctly

Update {objectQualifier}ModuleDefinitions SET Version = '03.03.00' WHERE ModuleName ='DNN_UserDefinedTable'

the replace operation is case sensitive.
