I just upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.3.5. Now, every once in a while, when I access the site, I am prompted for a login. Not the dnn login but, a Windows type prompt. If you press ok without entering anything the site oprnes ok. What could be causing this?

www.cruiseal.info

Thanks!

Brian

I should add that if I click "Cancel", I get an asp debug screen with the following error:

Access to the path 'E:\hshome\bshalton\cruisecal.info\portal\Portals\_default\EventQueue\Application_Start--0bc28a25-96b8-4715-add2-6e8b04668680.config' is denied.

the site is www.cruisecal.info. The was not happening before the upgrade and the upgrade was flawless

I guess I'll just go back to 4.0.3

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a permission issue.  Have you made sure that the ASPNET user has full permissions to your root website and to your temp?

I will confirm but, the site worked fine on the previous version. I tried running KeepAlive.aspx It prompts for a login and I can leave both the usename and password blank and it works fine all day.

Thanks,

Brian
