Hello,

I have a query that when I run it under the SQL page in Host menu it works fine and return the expected rows. But when I put this same query inside a reports module it always says: "The report query returned no results".

Does anyone had this problem before? Any tip or suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

I have had this problem too.  I found that the Reports module does two unexpected things:

1) truncates very long queries

2) removes the word "create" and probably other key words as well.  I found this to be a problem when I had a column named "CreatedDate".

My workaround was to create a stored procedure in the database and execute it from the Reports module:

Execute [my stored procedure]

1) This issue may be caused by the size restriction on Module Settings, unfortunately this is determined by the Core framework so it is more difficult to change. I will investigate this issue further and see what I can find out.

2) This issue has been fixed in the most recent version: 4.4.2

I should have clarified: Version 4.4.2 of the Reports Module, not the Core. See the Project Downloads page and my "Reports Version Numbers" post in this forum for details.
