I have installed DOTNETNUKE 4.0.2 first on my machine which ran fine. Then I copied to my ISP and edited the web.config for the SQL Server database. I opened the site and it went through the install. Everything looked fine. I hit the link to open the site and got an error as below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like it never installed properly on the remote host. Did you ever see the install screen?

I did see the install page and click on the link at the bottom to open my site. That is when I received the error. I tried twice. I have it working on my machine. I do have it working on my machine.

But have had similar problems on an XP machine but I get a security type problem not being able to write to the web.config file. Which is strange since I and the ASPnet account have full control over the directory. This is another matter I am not as worried about right now.

Does the ISP have to do anything on their end? I did set the dite for ASP .NET 2.
