Hi

Does anybody know the best way to completely clear out:
a) the schedule history
b) Site logs

Do I have to go into the tables manually and do it myself or is there button in the UI I can click (can't see any myself).

c) Can somebody tell me what Host/Host Settings/Upgrade log for version (drop down list at the bottom of the page) does? Curious that's all.

Thanks very much...

Alex

You canset the schedule to purge your site log.  You can also chnge the number of records the schedule history keeps.  You do both of these under host.

The upgrade log is nthe text file created when the upgrade is dne.  It keeps any errors that may have occurred during the upgrade.

Thanks for the reply, useful!

I guess I was locking for an immediate purge button rather than daily schedule purge.
On my site DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.PurgeScheduleHistory is set for 1 day and enabled and is running properly, yet I can see earlier records in the log viewer.
I guess I need to understand what exactly a "purge" does (still a little unsure), does it blast the records out of a table and dump it into a file somewhere?

Thanks

Alex
