I just placed an enhancement request in Gemini:

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=4383

Basically, in a portal that can have a lot of pages, the dropdown menu that lists the pages in Links Modules and other areas can be too much for some users who have editing ability on a single page, module, or section of a web site.  I have a few examples of where the number of pages is exceedingly long, even to me.

The enhancement I proposed would put a few radio buttons above this dropdown menu labeled "My Pages", "Other Pages", and "All Pages".  You would be able to choose a filter so that you would only see the pages in the dropdown menu that you wanted to.  For instance, "My Pages" should only be pages that the current user has permission to update.

I wanted to gauge the opinion of others in the forum to see if you think this might be a welcome enhancement.

The dropdown, you are talking about is part of the URLcontrol, that allows to specify links to external URLs, internal files, pages and user accounts. I agree, that there is room for improvement, e.g. my company created a one, you can see a demonstration here.

That is one heck of a replacement!  :)  I like all the functionality, but it appears to be too much for the average users that I work with.

Since it was in a different language, I may be incorrect on my assumptions, but I guess the upper portion of the page is an Administrator set-up?

you can get English UI by logging in as user "demo-en" with password "demo".

The control itself consists of the line below "2. use it", click either the text box or the browse button.

The upper area is to mimic all options, that are available to the module developer - it is up to him, to expose some on the module's setting page.
