Is it possible to register a dnn blog account with Word 2007?

Word 2007 has for a provider but DNN is not listed.  It further suggests to register a blog account with Word for a provider that is not listed, type your user name, password, Application Programming Interface (API), and blog post URL in the dialog box for registering blog accounts in Word.

The user name and password are the credentials.  Is seems straightfoward enough that you use to login to the webportal.  What is the API and blog post URL information ?

Not at present. Word2007/windows live writer both require blog software to expose their details via various api's such as the metaweblog api, and the blog module doesn't support this yet. It's on the roadmap for future inclusion.

Hi Cathal,

Any ideas on when the MetaWebLogPI will be implemented?  And do you need a hand?  A couple of Readify guys hve done it for other blog engines.
