Hi

I have just started on my first custom module and have run into into the following problem: I have created a View-control which has a button that has a click handler method. This click handler does work fine when I am logged in as  admin or host but does not work when I test as an anonymous user. Also I am trying to use localization on the control which also works fine when logged in as admin or host, but does not work when testing using an anonymous user.  Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong. The control is displayed OK for the anonymous user -  except for localization and the missing event when the button is clicked.

Does anyone have a suggest what may be wrong. I am a total beginner in programming DNN, but have some experience in asp.net

Lars Kohsel

This is most likely a caching issue.  Try setting cache in your module settings to 0.

Thank you for your response..

I have tried that allready. The caching is also disabled for the entire DNN installation (at Host level).

Hi

Thanks for your response. I suspected that too, so I have already turned off caching and set the module caching to 0 and restarted the www-service on the server. No change in result :-(

Can you post some code, or better yet, the module somewhere?
