Hi

We host multiple DNN databases for the same customer. Each db has its own folder struct and codebase. So when a DNN version changes we have to copy or upgrade one time for each DNN install.

Question is has anyone ever done a database swap - so that the user can choose which DNN db to use on login or of from a separate ASPX access page? I suspect that all that needs to be done is to display the available dbs for the user to select and then use the associated data connection string...

Thanks

Interesting question.  It would be nice to have just one set of codebase.

Say you configure mutiple virtual folder names (dotnetnuke, dotnetnuke 2) in IIS that all point to the same physical folder.  Each virtual folder is configured to use a specific active directory account.  The web.config is configured to use integrated mode for database access.  In theory, this should work, shouldn't it?
