In 4.x the Create Private Assembly link is only visible if the module is built using the dynamic module WSP approach with the code in the app_code folder.

Ok i've created a folder under App_Code : App_Code\CS and i've put  my Controller and info.cs files into.

i've created a folder under DesktopModules with my View...ascx and ascx.cs files

i've modified web.config

   <codeSubDirectories>
            <add directoryName="Reports"/>
            <add directoryName="CS"/>
      </codeSubDirectories>

Did i need to do more?

(I'm beginer, i just try on a simple module to understand how it works)

 Thanks for your help

In 4.x the Create Private Assembly link is only visible if the module is built using the dynamic module WSP approach with the code in the app_code folder.

The core team has committed to upgrading this over time, but for now, that is the current behavior.
