Hi,

What's the default way of securing a dnn portal trough ssl?

Although ssl is not "officially" supported on DNN, many people have sucessfully implemented solutions.  The easiest method is to secure the entire site.  You do this in IIS and every page uses https.  This method is easy to implement and I have not experienced any issues at all.

There are also several ssl modules available on Snowcovered.  Here are a couple.
