Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to have people login using their e-mail and password instead of their username?
Also, is it possible to get rid of the username usage all together ?
I posted about this on the Forum module forum to see if it's possible to display the person's full name instead of their username on their posts. Thank you.

Hello,

Can you not just tell your users to create their accounts with their email AS their username?

I think DisplayName should be used everywhere for privacy purposes, but I guess in an intranet or private portal Full Name may be required. It would be nice to find a generic way to handle this request so that all developers/modules could show the same thing based on a site setting .... not sure it would be possible tho..
