Hi,

I cannot get an email notification to the creator or a messages.

The user has enabled tracking, but the code does not send tracking messages to the current user:
If emailType = ForumEmailType.PMAdd Then
.....
Else
' This user doesn't need to receive notification email
mArrDistList.Add(user.Membership.Email)


The user has notification enabled in his personal settings

There is no option during creation of the message for Notification


How can I get an email message to the creator of a message?

What you are looking at there PMAdd is not the right spot, as this is not even in use yet.

Just so you know, where it builds the distribution list, it removes the person who wrote the message. Find this in the code and you can remove the check where it looks for the poster.
