Has anyone else had problems getting .tif documents to open after they have been uploaded?  I went under host/host settings/advanced settings/other settings and added tif and tiff to the File Upload Extensions but this doesn't seem to help.  We have users who have tif documents that they would like to upload.  Does anyone have any fixes or suggestions?  Or does anyone know - are we suppose to be able to upload tif documents in the documents module?

Thanks!

What happens when you try to download the TIF file?

I am able to download the document without a problem - I just cannot open the document.  When I first try to open the document it pops up the File Download window that says that 'Some files can harm your computer.  If the file information below looks suspicious, or you do not fully trust the source, do no open or save this file.'  I click Open to open the file and I get the following message:  Unable to open file "C:\Documents and Settings/jrollins\Local Settings\Temporary Internet\Files\Content.IE5\Y1KJSZYZ\Vela Residential Contractor[1].tif".  Check file name and permissions.

Hi jennalynnrollins,

did you check the filesize after download termination? Is the downloaded document of the same size as the origianal?

If not, then I have the same problem with pdf-files: here.

Regards,
Fabian
