Hello,

I have a Rich Text field type in my UDT. Wherever an user type a text in it and saves, the HTML tags inserted in his text appers in the list. Eg: I have two columns, Name (text) and About (rich text). The user enters:

Name: Me
About: I am 30 years old.

In the list, it shows:

Name  About
Me      <p>I am 30 yers old.</p>

If the user inserts a line break, change font name, size, etc, the tags shows in the list (<br>, <font>, etc)

How do I avoid this?

I am using DNN 4.3.5 with the UDT that comes with it.
My HTML editor is FCK Editor version 01.00.06.

Thanks in advance!

in module settings make sure, that you unchecked the option "Filter input for markup code or script input. Note: Filtering is always enabled for Anonymous."

Please notice, that this does not affect input from anonymous users.

Thanks for the response.

The option for filtering input is unckecked.
I think the problem is with that filter. I noticed that the problem does not occurs with registered users, only with anonymous. Anonymous users are allowed to create news rows.

Unfortunately, in this case, I need to allow anonymous user to create news rows in that module.

Do you know of some workaround to disable that filter even for anonymous users?

Thanks again!

this can only be solved by a code tweak. we will take care of this in the next version.
