I have several modules in one page. One of them is visible for all registered users and other modules are visible only for users in specified role. Clicking the button in the visible module causes adding current user to the role:
roleController.UpdateUserRole(portalId, userId, roleID, false)
After this page is reloaded and other modules should become visible, but they aren't. Only after some time and refreshing the page user can see other modules. Why DNN doesn't see role changes at once?
In previous versions of DNN (322) I circumvented the problem with signing the user off and logging him again. In DNN435 UserInfo.Membership.Password is empty and I can't relogin the user.

I found the way to read user password (the forum rulez!) but unfortunately relogging a user doesn't work anymore.
So I'm still looking for the solution - I stuck, deadlines are close and the module doesn't work properly. Somebody help me, please?

Just thinking off the top of my head but what's the caching set to under the Host->Site Settings? Or do you have any other compression/caching (such as PageBlaster) running?

Caching settings don't influence the way it works (or rather doesn't work) - i have checked different settings. But someone suggests it's the matter of cookies - he says roles are remembered in cookies refreshed every period of time (minute?). So I will clear the cookies and see what happens next...
