Hello,

I have a serious problem with the download of pdf files ! When someone clicks the link and downloads a file, not the whole file is downloaded. The download terminates without any error, but some bytes always miss!

I already explained this in a post of the Document forum : pdf-problem

But in fact it is not a problem that concerns the Document module, because it is the same with the Link module.

This problem occurs on a production portal - I would be extremely thankful for any help!

Regards,
Fabian

Configuration: DNN 4.3.5, SQL-Server 2005, Windows 2003 - all this on a VPS

I have exactly the same problem.

I have a post at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/18/threadid/98465/postid/99162/scope/posts/Default.aspx

A friendly user suggested that 4.4.1 might fix the problem.  I didn't see anything in the change log about it. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes

Hi mikeh,

a bit more and a bit less then 1 MB. Detailed explenations are to find here :

With DNN 4.4, when unenabeling IIS compression and using the integrated compression, things work fine.

Fabian
