beware of load times.

i'm new to DNN and noticed many comercial sites people have built with DNN are slow loading and all the dotnetnuke.com site itself have issues with load time and refresh, especially on the forums.  it's not real bad, maybe 5 seconds average, but you should be aware of this when you consult your customers.  many people can't stand slow loading pages.  just FYI, i plan to use DNN for some things still.

The load times are inherent to ASP.NET applications in general, not just DNN.  I'm not saying DNN is not heavy - it is.  You can speed things up by use of caching (built in or through 3rd party tools like PageBlaster) and use of a free KeepAlive service such as Host-Tracker.com.
