In my rudimentary extamination of the List module output (i.e., selected the module and "Paste as HTML" into Visual Studio), it appears that each entry is added as a table with a blank row added between items as a spacer.

I'm interested in changing the output to something more skinnable, like a list.  At the very least, I'd like to remove the blank row.  However, I can't find the source to this module (or any module).  Perhaps my DNN noob status is hampering me.  Is source available to modules?

source code comes for all modules in the source release package of DotNetNuke 3.1 very well hiden. It is saved as zip named DNN_links.resources, that is contained in /install/module/Links_3.1_Source.zip.

If you normally install DNN3.1.1 Source, it will install all modules in the /install/module folder and the source code is found in file
/desktopModules/Links/DNN_links.resources.

A .zip renamed as .resources?  You cheeky monkeys...    That's what I was looking for.  Thanks!

So--and if this is too far off topic you can admonish me--if I use this source to expand the module, what are the licensing agreements?  I assume I can freely distribute it.  Can I sell it to the 3 people who might be interested in it?  Would you be interested in the modifications?  (Granted, as an agonizingly slow perfectionist with a family and a small business, by the time I get around to coding & finish tweaking, DNN will probably be on some radically new version.)

dotnetNuke uses a modified BSD license. that allows nearly everything exept removing copyright notice from the source code. Of course, be aware, there must be communists, that have been initiating this licensing concept, and they will all catch you, believe me, all of you, so turn of you PC now, now, now, now, now, now,
