I am using the standard "Discussion" module --  the basic model which comes as a standard feature of DNN.

The problem is I let users post anonymously, without logging in, but I would like to keep these anonymous users from deleting a post.

I don’t want folks to have to login to post a message...but i want to keep them from deleting the message or editing it once it is posted.

is there a replacement?

I am looking for a discussion form that:

1) posters don't have to login

2) can't delete their posts once they post it.

Are you allowing them to start new threads or does someone start the thread and then everyone comments?

I might suggest taking a look at the Blog module which allows comments, or Ventrians (http://www.ventrian.com/) News Articles module which also allows comments.

I want them to start new threads...but not delete anything they post or others post.
