Hello let me start by saying I've only been working with .NET for about 20 months or so and have only been working with DotNetNuke for 11 so my knowlege is a little limited.

I recently did some stuff where I added AJAX functionality to a DotNetNuke module with the beta toolkit.

This required quite a few web.config changes.

Most of the modules I've purchased don't require web.config changes. Providers that I have configured like the FCK Editor did.

Are there any plans or thoughts about an AJAX provider for DotNetNuke?

I've read about some issues where you can only add one script manager on a page and that can cause problems with masterpages( which I know DNN does not use ) and ascx controls.

Just kinda wondering what other peoples thoughts are on that.

The Core member in charge of "client side" stuff (this includes Ajax/Atlas) is Jon Henning (click on link to see his blog)

He has written extensively in his blog about what DotNetNuke is doing about Ajax.
