I deleted the original host account and have a new superuser acct I user to administer host. I tried creating another superuser and that account also has the same problems - I cannot get into the site settings - it takes me to mange profile instead - is that the same problem you had?

BTW, I can replicate the same thing when creating aportal from the 'organization/club' template

This is actually a parent portal, but I think I tried and had the same problem on child portals as well.

So you are saying there is a way to get into 'site settings'? Please elaborate on that if you can

I;m sorry my mind is wandering, I have been using the Host account the whole time, niether host nor admin accounts can access site settings. I created a new portal to replace the one that had the problem - pretty scary issue though - especially if you put a bunch of time into the site
