Using the Blog module, why do I NOT have permission to upload images (error message), and more importantly how do I get such permission?

Did you tried to upload the images with the image gallery of your FTB text editor or did you use the upload feature of newblog ?

If you try the image gallery of FTP text editor the problem is that you don't have set the right permission in the file manager. If you are using the upload feature there is no additional permission setting needed.
