I have the  need to programmatically un-authorize certain registered users based on the value of one of their profile properties. This task will be done daily using DNN scheduler. To create the dll carrying out the task, I thought about getting a dataset of all registered users that will be unauthorized then iterating through the dataset to update the aspnet_membership table.

I need some insight from DNN experts, any comment would be appreciated and please correct me if I am wrong

Is aspnet_users table related to [DNN] Users table by the Username field? (I don't see the relationship in the diagram, and I could not find where this constraint is enforced)

Is it safe to update the membership table directly or is there a DNN object that I can use in the dll to un-authorize a registered user.
