Is it possible to make a skin/portal without SOLPART and still view the site as normal?

By without what I mean is, is it possible to hide all the menu options (so that you still get the admin and host options when logged in) and still be able to browse the site as a guest normally.

I've tried doing this before and it kept taking me automatically to the login page.

I have done "business card" style sites in the past (strictly one page sites) that had no standard menu.  To get the Admin & Host menu options only, I used a skin object made by Leigh Pointer (SubZero Solutions).

I apologize if I have misunderstood your question...
