Hi,

I've checked out New Blog and I'm very happy with it. I just think there's something missing which is very crucial in my case. I have a site on which I want to be the only one to blog on. Unfortunately I only can add one blog and have to add my categories as child blogs. In this case only one blog is shown in the NewBlog control. I want to display the categories of my single blog there and not allow other users to create blogs, because it's my personal site. Is there currently a way to achieve this or can you add it as a feature?

You can easy control who is able to create a personal blog or not with the permission settings of the different modules.

Follow the link below to see the description of how to setup the right permissions:

Now to your question with showing the child blogs as root categories:

No, currently there is no way to do this.

Yes, I have already done some thoughts to add a feature like this in a future release.

No, I have no schedule today, when the feature will be implemented.

HP
