Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the parameters of the friendly url setup and am trying to implement some new roles. I'd like to cut out the /tabid/tabnumber/ part and possibly replace it with a word or phrase of my choice? Anyhow if a tutorial exists could you point me the way? Thanks a bunch!

cheers!

To use friendly names instead of the tabid=tabnumber you would create a rule that looks like this:

    <RewriterRule>
      <LookFor>.*PageBlaster.aspx</LookFor>
      <SendTo>~/Default.aspx?tabid=589&ProductID=9</SendTo>
    </RewriterRule>

Is this the same as for the Friendly Urls Add Rule thing in Host Settings>Advanced Settings on a copy of v3.03.06? If I could just find a copy of the parameters somewhere I'm sure I could figure out. Either way thanks for your help!

cheers!
