this is a permission problem - really has nothing to do with DNN. If you only get this when logging on as admin then  check your permissions on the image folder in the control panel section - on some of my client installations this folder for some unknown reason ends up with the wrong permission.

I am getting this even before logging in - as soon I the browser loads the default.aspx page... AND only versions above 3.2.2.

My hosting provider is using ASP.NET 2.0 in medium trust level - could this have an impact? In this case I cannot understand why I havent got the problem in 3.2.2?
