Hi All,

I'm sure this issue was discussed here before but I don't know where.

I want to start using DotNetNuke. What version should I install 3 or 4?

Does version 4 support all of the earlier developed modules?

Thanks,

Adi

i would recommend 4.x, as development will stop soon on 3.x. Modules built for 3.x work on 4.x as they're runtime compatible, but if you want to recompile the source, you'll have to convert them first - the module upgrade wizard @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx will do that for you.

Go for DNN 4. Like Cathal says DNN 3 is ending its life soon and new development is on DNN 4.  Plus ASP 2.0 is the new standard so no point giving yourelf the frameowrk upgrade headache if you dont need to.
