I deleted the contents of my EventQueue folder (except for the readme file).  I still get the windows login popup.

I have not had any response to my question about my vanilla install (install package) on my host not containing any content.

I also have had no response about not having any of the available templates (except for the dotnetnuke template) available for my child portals.

What I have found out from my host is that my database user for the MSSQL database on my host is not granted dbo privleges.  I have the databaseOwner set to my db username in web.config.  Could this be the cause of my troubles?  The database seems to be created corectly.  Is there anything I should look for in the db which would indicate that this is a problem?

OK.  Here's the MSSQL (2000) settings from my control panel from my host:

For my DB User:

And in Database Roles, db_owner has the IS_APP_ROLE set to false.

My host set my db username to the dbo role.  I wiped out the site and the db, created a new db with my db user as dbo role) unzipped 4.3.7, ran setup and saw:

The only file in  /portals/_default/EventQueue folder is the readme.  I had deleted the rest of the files including the EventQueue.config.  When I click Restart Application from the Host/Host Settings menu, I get the windows login popup and my site is populated with no content.

The exact same installation done locally does not give me the popup and creates content.  My host has ensured me that I have no file access issues and has granted me dbo privleges for my db user.  I'm completely at a loss.
