I’m currently moving a site from a windows 2003 server with SQL express to a 2000 server with express.  I have ran into a snag of permissions for the DB and can’t seem to get it squared away.  I am receiving the error 'Login failed for user 'ComputerName\ASPNET'.  I realize this should be a simple fix of adding ASPNET user rights to the database in express.  I have went into the database went to database -> security-> users -> new user -> login name -> browse -> Selected [Computername\ASPNET] -> role/user db_owner.  I have selected the database as the default in the user profile and  I am still receiving the same error.  I am missing something simple….if someone could help I’d appreciate it.
Thanks

Why did you think that it was the database?  machinename/asp.net user needs full rights on the directory where the web root is located.
