Hello,

I'm developing my own module and I cannot localize asp.net control (i.e. <asp:label ...>) like I do in normal asp.net 2.0 applications.

There is the automatically generated App_LocalResources folder under my module folder with the resource files for the edit, view and settings ascx-controls.

When I try to localize a control like this:
<asp:label id="MyLabel" runat="server" meta:resourcekey="MyLabelResource1" />

the control is not localized.

And even the access via code to a local resource object fails. It seems to me that the Resourcefile is not found.

How do you do localization? (The localization of the <dnn:label ...> controls works)

Thank you in advance!

please refer to the Localization whitepaper and Module Localization guide, that are both included in the documentation pack, available from the download page here on DotNetNuke.com.
