Hey i want to install dnn.. what would i have to do if i want dnn installed on my design computer, so i can make the site on there, and then upload it to a web server.... what would i need intalled on the design computer... and how?

your local computer needs

  • Windows XP pro, you should must install Internet Information Server (IIS)
  • ASP.Net 1.1 and 2.0 (installed after IIS)
  • SQL Server 2005 Express (if you cannot use the production server)
  • DotNetNuke installed in a virtual directory

Have a look into the installation guide, included in the documentation pack, for further details.
