I'm setting up a site, and have the choice of using a full MSSQL 2005 license or setting up SQL Express to handle it.

Has anyone done any performance comparisons, or are there any limitations or issues with using one or the other that would make one of the 2 choices a clear preference?

I've searched across the forums, but haven't found a thread dealing with this issue.  If I searched poorly, could someone point me to the right thread?

Thanks!

SQL Express can handle Databases only up to 4 GB, use 1 Processor and 1 GB of Memory. There are several tools and options missing, usually not needed for DNN. Express will be fine for small and medium sized portals.
