I setup my site as test.domain.com and then moved it to production. Now when the site sends out email its coming from admin@test.domain.com. I need to change that to admin@domain.com because in addition to the from address being wrong I'm not getting the emails because the test.domain.com address is not valid.

How can I change that address?

This is for DNN 4.3.6

Thanks

Sign in as the portal administrator, click on the Administrator Account link and change the email address there.

I am using the latest version of DNN 7 and am having difficulty locating the "Portal:Email" address entry ... the 'address that is called' for the Privacy and Terms set by the system ... Where do I find the location of the "Portal:Email Field" so that the correct email address is called and displayed?

The Language/Global Resources references .... Resource Name: MESSAGE_PORTAL_PRIVACY.Text and the Resource Name: MESSAGE_PORTAL_TERMS.Text files, both call the "Portal:Email" in the HTML .... Where do I find the location of the 'called Field' for this?... so I can change the Email Address to the correct entry?

Yes it can be done! DNN 7.3.  go to Host> Advanced Settings (2nd button)>SuperUser Account

Click Add New User button and create a user called "admin". The system picks up the email address from here. I tried everything else suggested on the web  for a week.

Julie, this is not correct. The superuser is only used for new websites, notifying the site owner about his site (same, if it reaches site limits)

If you need to set sender address for registration etc. you need to configure admin user in Admin > Site settings module, the email address of the user here is used as sender.
