You changed it to port 81 and it doesn't work?

After this step:

The web server should start and a mesage like the graphic below should pop up

After that the portal installs

It should install using port 81, is this true?

After it installs you Click on Click Here To Access Your Portal .

Is that where it "loop forever"? What port is it trying to go to?

hehe ... YES ... belive me. it tried 81, 8080, 80000, ... that doesn't work if you use dnn 436 install version. you HAVE to add the libe to the web.config and you should keep the setting "use dynamic ports" to "true".

Ok I'll confirm it tonight and update the tutorial. Thank you for sticking though this with me. I apoligize if I came off harsh.
