I have two DNN 4.3.5 installations. On one the Forgot Password? function works. On the other clicking the link leads to a blank page (page has skin but no content).

Why would this be? Both installs were recently upgraded from DNN 3.1.1 to 4.3.5 and before the upgrade the Forgot Password? function worked.

I did a test that pinpoints the database as the source of the problem. I took a copy of the DNN installation where the function is not working and pointed it to a copy of the database belonging to the installation where the function is working. In this setup the function does work which implies the source of the problem is not in the DNN code, files etc.

I still have no idea what data might be missing/incorrect - time to fire up SQL Profiler and see what queries are run against the DB when the Send Password page is retrieved .....

Its resolved, thanks to community member trouble2. There were missing records in ModuleControls for SendPassword.ascx and other controls.
