I had upgraded to 4.3.5 and then about a week later to 4.3.6

Have major filesystem problems. I read that truncating FILES and FOLDERS tables and re-synching would fix it.

I did this but still get the same error after only a handful of folders are inserted into folders, and no files at all.

No images / files etc are appearing on any of the portals in this install.

I set the file synch up via scheduler because it timed out from the File Manager, but it still fails with the same error, as below.

Does anyone know how to debug this issue and get my files synched?

InnerException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

FileColumnNumber: -1

All I am getting synched into the folders table before it errors out are the folders apparently in the _default portal (PortalID is null) and that's where it stops.

I guess I might have myself figured out ... If I log in to each and every portal and do a file resynch from each, then it looks like things are coming together. The files and folders tables are filling up.

I am having to comb through each page to find where links to files were broken and need to be repaired.

I'll be interested to know if the schedule resynch will work now.

I think what I'll be doing is migrating each portal off of this particular install, one by one, onto a fresh 436 install ...
