I'm using 3.3.05.  I need to redirect certain (not all) users to a certain page after they login.  We're not going back to the page they tried to access - we're just sending all users of a certain role to a specefied page after they login.  How is this done?

Thanks,

Casey

I've been asking it also, and waiting for an answer. I saw this thread too late. I checked some threads from the first page, found nothing and created my own. Then I continued to search deeply in the forums.

I'll check for answers in both threads...

the core redirect function only works for all roles. If you want to do it only for certain roles, you might want to look in some of the commercial enhanced user registration modules (ie. by dnnmasters and UCanUse)

Oh.

My client is expecting me to get that kind of stuff free, and not having to buy it...

It looks I will have to do it myself. It doesn't seem to be difficult at all - a single MyRedirect.aspx that just checks the role of the current logged in user and redirects to a web.config key-defined tab address suffix.

For those that read this thread and want that aspx file: I'm planning to do it only in middle-January. I will be glad to send the file by e-mail as soon as January ends.

Thanks anyway!
