Hi,
I installed dotnetnuke3.3.6 and I am getting this error when i try to access the site

"DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

The stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist. "

Please help me fix it..

Hello there, did you ever manage to get this fixed? I have the same problem when upgrading to 3.3.7 and I don't know what to do next. Any thoughts would be great, thanks.

Hi,

Actually that version didn't worked at all. So I  redid it from scratch. Here what I did and I hope it will work for you also.

If you are on a shared hosting server, delete all the 3.3.7 files and also the database.

Download the zip file of Version 3.2.2  on your computer. Create a database on your server, ask the web hosting provider to grant "Execute permissions" on that database. Unzip the Version file in a folder on your computer. Upload the files in this folder individually using FTP or similair programs. Update the connection string in web.config file. Run it on your web browser. I think it should work.
