No offense taken.  Thanks for the kind words.

As you said the site is functional and the lights are the main thing, thats why I have put videos out there from previous years displays because a picture does not do it justice...

I have used other skin packages and such for other websites for customers but I really dont want to buy one for this site since its a "hobby" (ok, some may call it an obsession, but I digress) and tI already spend enough on "hardware" for the display...

If you do get a chance to see the display you wont be dissapointed.  I have 6 songs out there this year and will be putting a couple more out there before Christmas.  The synchronizing of the lights is done with special hardware and software and takes quite a bit of time to do.  I am playing the show from a computer and broadcasting the sound onto low power FM transmitter so you can hear the music in the car when you drive up.  Theres a sign in the yard that tells you to tune to 98.9 FM.

Thanks Again,

Steve,

I got over to see your lights last night.  I really liked the Polar Express setup.  Great idea using the lights to make the railroad crossing and the spotlight for the train light.  I stayed for all the songs and I really enjoyed it.

Stuart,

Glad you liked the lights and found the display OK.  The polar express and the little st nick were added this weekend.

I kind of like the spotlight too for the headlight on the train.  Gets pretty bright if you are at the right location :)
