Hello, I would like to make a suggestion for a future version of DotNetnuke. I don't know what other people think of this but I think it would be great to have the option to completely remove the usage of a username for user profiles.
This means, allowing users to register just by providing their e-mail address and password, then have them login just be entering their e-mail and password, etc. Also, for the forum this could be implemented by displaying the person's real name instead of their username. I know many organizations or institutions would benefit from this as people don't have to be remembering their username for accessing and using the website, to me this is more of a community oriented website but for organizations like ours it is best to just use the e-mail. Please consider my suggestion. Thank you.
