Hi,

I have a question. I am currently developing a module that displays a FORM. I want to collect info from the user and store that info in a table which is in a different database. Can I do that in DotNetNuke? If yes, how? Is there any resource [or a URL] that tries to explain the solution to the above problem?

Thanks!

You can just use regular asp.net programming.  No magic.  If you want a URL, remember that google is your friend.

You can add a sql server connection string in the web.config and get the setting from your module -- or you can hard code it your asp.net code (yuck). :)

Hi,

I tried that, I have the "Submit" button's click event in code behind file. I use a seperate "SqlConnection" in that event handler to establish the connection and INSTERT the info. But, I get a error messege. What do I do?

Error messege is -- "Login failed for user 'mulocalserver\ASPNET'."

Note: - I also use ExecuteNonQuery() method on the SqlCommand.
