Hello Boskone

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion.

I had already tried this with dnn 4.3.5 and it didn't work.

However, I have since tried it again with dnn 4.3.7 and it is now working again.

Phew!!

You're welcome. I did not know exactly how it worked myself.

I am working on the interface to make it a little more user friendly such as not displaying the url control if static or dynamic mode is selected.

Hello Boskone

Unfortunately the styles have gone missing again, I have tried to get them back using the dynamic and the url mode, but so far nothing works.

The style menu is blank.

Could somebody please let me know how to implement and retain my custom styles, sucessfully. I need to be feel confident that I can safely add custom styles without being constandly afraid that the next time I look,  the site looks like an un-made bed. Fortunately my menu bar has remained, which relies on my custom style sheet, but I don't know how. I am terrified to touch it in case my menu bar is lost again.

Is it just me or is this also happening to somebody else ?

What am I doing wrong?

Do I need to add something to my web.config file, if so what?

Any suggestions?    I am using (FCKeditor 01.00.07)  (DNN 4.3.7)

Thanks

Lynn

I have found that the URL control is not working as expected. If you make any other changes on the editor options page, re-select both the styles and css files again before applying changes.

Hi Boskone

Thanks for the reply,  I have re-selected styles and css every time, trying both url and dynamic, but to no avail.

However, although I do not have the option of a dropdown style menu, somehow I am now able to apply my custom classes manually to my skin and they appear to be working.

Any idea how I might get back the styles menu, as I cannot expect anybody else to have knowledge of the various custom styles are available on the css stylesheet, or how to apply classes directly to the text etc.,

Thanks

Lynn
